We will seek to reach out to those in our neighborhoods, communities, nation and the world as commanded by Christ Himself. We will put forth a determined effort to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in both word and deed by ministering, in the love of |esus.
Who's involved?
Our outreach team involves the entire church to fulfill its goals. Members of the church can serve as volunteers or can provide items/supplies that we can distribute. We welcome anyone who sees a need in the community to work with the Outreach Ministry to provide the needed assistance. See our supported Missions below.
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14 And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

our missions
Laurel Mountain Food Pantry
The Laurel Mountain Food Pantry works in conjunction with the Westmoreland County Food Bank to ensure that our friends, family and neighbors have food available to them. Distribution is the second Thursday of each month at 10:00 at St Raymond of the Mountains Church. New applicants can enroll in person at that time. You must be a resident of Westmoreland County. Please bring proof of residency. You will also need information about your income, but no proof is needed. For information contact Lynne Donnelly at 724-610-1925
Valley Brethren Church supports this orphanage located in Peru with monthly donations. We also sponsor one of the children, Maria. For more information join the Puerto Maldonado Task Force on Facebook.
Operation christmas child
Valley participates in Samaritan's Purse. Gift collections are started in September and the shoeboxes are packed and shipped each November.

Volunteer appreciation week
The Westmoreland Food Bank stopped into our Laurel Mountain Food Pantry in April to deliver popcorn treats in honor of Volunteer Appreciation Month
